News July 10, 2008 - We have put a vid of us playing Secrets at the battle of the bands up on you tube, sorry for the sound quality, but pound down a beer or 24 and everything will be just dandy. Let us know what you think and be sure to subscribe if you want to be the first to see ofther vids. There will be more sooner or later. In other news, we are working hard (in between drinking sessions) on a kick ass demo of Nostardamus' Folly. Stay tuned for more info.
- Yossel the Shikker February 12, 2008 - I've just uploaded a new version of Phykkusabrig with the volume corrected. Now you can actually hear the song!
- Yossel the Shikker December 20, 2007 - Okay we just finished the demo of Phykkusabrig, try not to thrash yer little heads off while listening to it! As our biggest fan in Philly says "I'd beat the hell out of little kids in a pit to that song".
- Yossel the Shikker May 8, 2007 - Okay, you maniacs, if you haven't heard yet, we tied for first in the battle of the bands. We will be back for the finals on September 2nd to slay all the competition, make sure to clear you calendars or we will send over shims to gnaw on yer bones. We want to give a huge hell yeah to all our nutso teiheds that showed up and helped to destroy the place, we'll get yunz a beer some day. We also want to thank Gorilla Productions and Saddle Ridge for butting on such a kickass metal show. Last but not least we want to thank all the other bands (see the links below and check em out, good stuff) for aiding in our battle to metalize the planet, first Pittsburgh and then the world! You guys all rock!
- Yossel the Shikker April 25, 2007 - Put up demo of Dirty Little Secrets an you gotta listen to this now! Seriously, this demo came here to kick ass and drink beer, and we drank all the beer while we were finishing the mixing!
- Yossel the Shikker April 19, 2007 - Okay, we are going to be participating in (and winning) the Gorilla Productions Battle Of The Bands on Sunday May 6th at 4pm at Saddle Ridge. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. It's really important to us to sell as many as possible so contact a band member or the poritz to get a ticket. Here is a flyer, make sure to put it on all your web pages and print it out and make a public nuicance of yerself. What's a few trees slain in service of our unholy quest for world domination via Heavy Metal (and a 15% beer)? mmm... beer... That reminds me... gotta go!
- Yossel the Shikker March 5, 2007 - We want to give big HELL YEAH! to everyone who came to our show Saturday night and got drunk with us. Look for some video and audio to be posted as soon as we sober up and figure out where we put everything. \m/
- Yossel the Shikker February 2, 2007 - Posted four new tracks to our myspace page. Head on over there and make sure you listen to the brand new song "Kingdom of the Dead". This track firmly ensconces us as the drunken zombie love child of Black Sabbath and Cannibal Corpse! I would write more, but I have to go out and get drunk(er).
- Yossel the Shikker November 27, 2006 - Sorry about the lateness of this. The gig kicked ass! We would like to thank everyone who came out to see us. We would also like to thank Brave The Fire for coming out and tearing the place up! If anyone has pics or audio or video send em to us and we will get them posted ASAP. Stay tuned for more gigs.
- Yossel the Shikker November 7, 2006 - The third band for the show on the 16th has been confirmed, Brave The Fire. This is gunna be one ultramegakickass night of metal!
- Yossel the Shikker November 6, 2006 - We have a gig on Thursday, November 16 a the 31st Street Pub. We will be playing with F.. As In Frank and a yet to be determined band. Make sure to download and distribute our flyer and handbill to all your friends, enemies and strang people you pass on the street. Also, tomorrow is election day, don't forget to hit the polls and vote METAL! \m/
- Yossel the Shikker August 30, 2006 - Okay, we have finally gotten our acts together and put together a MySpace Page. Every one go there and knock yerselves out. We will be posting recordings there regularly. Things have been going great with Dima (the new drummer ya jackass) and you should look out for some gigs within a couple of weeks.
- Yossel the Shikker July 5, 2006 - We have parted ways with Creegshaft, but fortunately we have aquired a new drummer. We are currently working on some new demos. Stay tuned for mor developments!
- Yossel the Shikker January 19, 2006 - Posted recordings from the gig on the Music n' Vids page. Make sure to get them soon as I will probably be removing them after the next gig. Also there is an article about us in this week's Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle, everyone should go out and buy at least a dozen copies as these are sure to be valuble collectors items one day and will be worth a lot of beer money!
- Yossel the Shikker January 16, 2006 - The gig last night went awesome! Thanks to all the Teiheds that showed up and rocked out in spite of a few technical difficulties. The set was, Ya See Dis, Dirty Little Secret, Nostradamus' Folly, Salvation and Kings of Chaos. Sombody mumbled "Encore?", so we followed with IIIIIIIV. We'll get up some audio and maybe some video soon. Also there may be some more gigs in the near future, so keep coming back to stay on top of the latest news.
- Yossel the Shikker January 2, 2006 - We will be playing a show 7:30pm January 15th at Milky Way, 2120 Murray Ave in Squirrel Hill. Opening will be Castle Of Ashmadai. Download this really sweet flyer for more details. Hang it up all over your neighborhood! Affix it to your relatives! Become a general nuisance to society! But don't be in jail for the show!
- Yossel the Shikker December 18, 2005 - Sadly we have parted ways with our bassist Ber the Beer Bear, he need more time to work on his Epic Science Fiction Masterpiece. Luckily we immediately recruited Bear the Whiskey Doctor and things a progressing excellently! A lot of things are going on right now expect news soon on our progress in conquering the world.
